Being British I can hardly opine about how countries "should" infrastruct highspeed rail rather than more and more new roads... after all OUR one and only highspeed link's the one running to FRANCE! How embarrassing is that..?!? Anyway THIS is America's one and own fast rail (bullet-train-style) project. God speed the California Express!!

911 Call - Woman overlooked in HOSPITAL

OK I fished this from Dr Deb's site.

It contains an American 911 emergency tape of a lady calling FROM hospital to ask for medical help for another patient because this person is being so scandalously ignored.

You know what they say ... stranger than fiction!

On a more serious note the poor lady - so desperate for help - actually DIED as a result of this situation. Not funny.
